Northern Norway views on the EU Strategy for Sustainable Tourism

North Norway welcome the European Commission’s ambition to make Europe the world’s leading destination for sustainable and smart tourism and support the development of a new strategy that reflects the diversity of European regions.  For Northern Norway and the NSPA, it is important that this strategy is adapted to Arctic realities, which is different than other european regions, and contribute to broader EU goals for territorial cohesion, climate and social resilience, and geopolitical stability.
