On the background of the increasing focus on the Arctic area in general and EU’s communication about Arctic policy the North Norway European office arranged our second workshop about Arctic policy the 25th of June in Brussels.

The theme “Sustainable use of resources” is one out of the three headlines from the EU communication.  The intention with this workshop was to have a productive and open discussion about the possibilities and challenges connected to petroleum activity in the high north.

Our general ambition is to arrange workshops, which could be an arena for discussions, information exchange and networking for stakeholders in policymaking for the Arctic.
